Pressure Mounts for Biden to Withdraw After Disastrous Debate Against Trump

In the ongoing political developments in America, there is significant unrest among Democratic members of Congress.

Reports indicate that at least 25 Democrats are poised to urge Joe Biden to withdraw from the presidential race in the coming days. Additionally, two Senators have chosen to distance themselves from the beleaguered president.

This Democratic uprising in the House was expected if Biden “seems shaky in coming days,” as one Democratic aide cautioned, likening the situation to a broken dam.

Meanwhile, in the Senate, it has emerged that centrist Joe Manchin had to be persuaded against becoming the first Biden ally to call for his resignation on a Sunday news show.

Regarding this delicate matter, a party insider commented, “Nobody wants to be the first one to knife Julius Caesar,” reflecting the predicament faced by Manchin.

Tammy Baldwin, a Senator facing reelection in Wisconsin, made a sudden announcement that she would not join Biden onstage during his upcoming campaign event in her hometown of Madison on Friday.

These Democratic rebuffs unfolded on a tumultuous day in Washington, D.C., as three House members surprised the party either by calling on Biden to withdraw or by asserting that he has already lost the election to Donald Trump.

Despite Biden’s disastrous performance in the recent debate just few days ago, insiders from his camp continue to insist that the 81-year-old president will press on in his campaign against Trump.
