Man Threatens Jump from Abuja Broadcast Mast Over Fuel Subsidies and Security Concerns

An unidentified man has ascended a broadcast mast on Katampe Hill in Abuja, where he has threatened to jump unless his demands for the reinstatement of fuel subsidies and an end to insecurity are addressed. Prior to climbing the mast, he left a suicide note at its base.

Emergency responders including the Fire Service, NEMA, and FCT officials are currently on-site, working to persuade the man to come down safely.
