Youth Confesses to Triple Murder of Parents and Brother in India Over Love Dispute

In Uttar Pradesh, India, police have detained a 15-year-old boy in Ghazipur for confessing to the murder of his parents and brother.

The motive, according to reports, stemmed from his parents’ disapproval of his two-year relationship with a girl he loved.

The tragic incident took place in Kusumhikala village under Nandganj Police Station on the night of July 7 and 8. Authorities recovered a sharp weapon believed to have been used by the teenager in the killings.

Police revealed that the boy had been planning the murders and had even purchased a sharp agricultural tool, ensuring it was sharpened for the gruesome act. Early in the morning around 1 am, after consuming alcohol, he allegedly slit the throats of his sleeping family members. Afterward, he alerted neighbors to the deaths.

Following inquiries with local residents, police took the minor into custody for questioning. During interrogation, he confessed to the crimes. He appeared in a juvenile court on Wednesday, July 10.
