In a shocking incident that has rattled Baguio City, Philippines, a woman stands accused of severing her husband’s penis following an alleged argument over infidelity.
The unnamed couple, residents of Baguio City, were reportedly engaged in intimate relations at their residence last week when the husband, in a moment of intimacy, allegedly uttered another woman’s name. Enraged by this, his 55-year-old wife purportedly waited until he fell asleep before using a 10-inch kitchen knife to carry out the assault.
Neighbors responded to the husband’s cries for help and quickly transported him to the hospital, while local authorities from the Baguio City Police Station apprehended the wife at the scene of the incident.
Photographs from the scene depict the severed tip and part of the shaft on the blood-stained mattress.

According to a spokesperson from the Baguio City Police Station, jealousy was cited as the motive behind the assault. The wife reportedly accused her husband of infidelity, which she claimed prompted her extreme reaction. Police recovered the knife used in the attack and secured the severed penis as evidence.
Medical professionals at the hospital attempted to reattach the organ but were reportedly unsuccessful, local media sources have confirmed.
In a subsequent police interview, the wife, seen in a pink Mickey Mouse pajamas in her mugshot, admitted to the assault.

The furious wife told police: “My husband was saying his mistress’s name, not mine. I was influenced by alcohol, but I knew what I was doing.
“He knows that he is also at fault. He shouldn’t try to deny it, he shouldn’t try to lie that hasn’t done anything wrong. It’s so obvious, because I see it.”
Despite her claims, she admitted to lacking evidence to support adultery charges against her husband.
Police said she will be charged with mutilation which carries a penalty of between 12 to 40 years in prison in the Philippines.
