A man identified as Fatai Mogaji is currently on the run after allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend, Opeyemi, to death in Lagos State.
The tragic incident occurred on July 10th following a night out at a club in the Ikorodu area.
According to Opeyemi’s sister, the victim had reconciled with Mogaji and decided to spend the evening with him. However, a heated argument ensued around 5 am, culminating in the horrific attack. Opeyemi sustained multiple stab wounds and succumbed to her injuries.
The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the incident and launched a manhunt for the suspect. Police spokesperson, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has ordered a full-scale investigation into the matter.
