Nigerian citizens can now travel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) following the lifting of visa restrictions.
The announcement was made today by Information Minister Mohammed Idris, who confirmed that an agreement has been reached between both countries.
The new visa arrangements, which include updated requirements, are effective immediately.
The UAE had previously placed travel restrictions on Nigerians and citizens of other African countries in 2022.
