American rapper Lil Reese was taken into custody on Sunday, July 14th, in Los Angeles on suspicion of rape, according to TMZ.
According to law enforcement sources, Reese and a woman went on a date that concluded at a hotel.
The woman alleges that Reese pressured her into having sex, which she refused. She claims he subsequently forced himself on her. Following the alleged assault, she immediately reported the incident to hotel staff and contacted authorities.
Reese was arrested and booked on charges of sexual assault and rape. He has since been released after posting a $100,000 (₦161,886,000) bond.
