A pregnant woman named Margaret was brutally assaulted by a six-man armed gang while working on her farm in Kadiri, Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The attack occurred on Friday, July 12, 2024, sparking outrage and fear among residents.
According to the victim, she and her husband were working on their farm when the suspected militia group appeared. They both attempted to flee, but Margaret was unable to escape due to her pregnancy and fell to the ground. The assailants then took turns raping her until she was severely injured and unconscious.
Her husband eventually found her and rushed her to the hospital for medical treatment.
