Retired Nigerian Army Colonel, BT Vandi, was found deceased at the Defence Academy base camp located on Vom Road in Jos.
An attendant discovered the Colonel unresponsive in his room at around 3:20 pm on July 17th. This comes just hours after Colonel Vandi checked into the guest room on July 16th.
Military sources confirmed these details. The body of the deceased officer will be transported to the 3 Division Military Hospital in Jos for an autopsy and further investigation.
Colonel Vandi’s death has caused concern within the military community. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his passing.
