A 45-year-old council worker, Taiwo Ojo, has been arrested by police in Ado-Ekiti for allegedly sexually abusing his 13-year-old daughter.
Community members reported witnessing the abuse, leading to Ojo’s arrest on Ojido Street.
The victim’s mother reportedly passed away a few years ago, and Ojo is alleged to have begun abusing his daughter soon after.
Witnesses claim the abuse initially occurred at their residence on Inisa Street, but Ojo relocated to Ojido Street after people raised suspicions.
According to police, the daughter confirmed the allegations, stating the abuse happened repeatedly.
