A woman caused a scene at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Saturday, August 10, by destroying her husband’s international passport and publicly disrespecting him.
The incident occurred shortly after the family arrived in Lagos from abroad. In a video that has since gone viral, the woman is seen confronting someone who questioned her about tearing the passport.
In response to the incident, the spokesperson for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, addressed the matter on Sunday, August 11.
She strongly condemned the woman’s actions, stating: “I strongly condemn the woman who tore her husband’s passport in a video that has since gone viral.
“Regardless of what he may have done, destroying his passport won’t change his actions or make him reconsider. As women, we should learn to control our emotions.”
