The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation following the circulation of a disturbing video on social media that shows a group of male students from Kumasi Academy Senior High School (KUMACA) harassing a female student.
The 31-second video, which has sparked widespread outrage, depicts the young men physically assaulting the female student while accusing her of engaging in sexual activity. The shocking footage has led to a public outcry, with many demanding immediate action against the perpetrators.
In response to the incident, the Ghana Police Service released a statement on its official social media channels confirming that an investigation is underway. The police assured the public that those involved will be identified, arrested, and brought to justice.
The police statement reads: “The Ghana Police Service has commenced an investigation into a viral video in which a group of young men were seen harassing a female student. We wish to assure the public that the perpetrators will be identified and arrested to face justice.”
