A horrific incident has shaken India once again. A two-year-old girl was allegedly abducted, raped, and murdered in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
The incident occurred late on Friday night when the suspect, identified as 20-year-old Moish, abducted the child as she slept family members outside her home in the Sadar area. The family was alerted and gave chase, but the accused managed to escape by throwing the girl into a drain.
The girl’s body was found in the drain on the morning of Saturday, August 17, 2024. Police have arrested Moish, who sustained gunshot wounds to both knees during the pursuit.
An investigation is underway, and the girl’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
