Ex-Anambra Deputy Speaker Harford Oseke Dies Suddenly After Exercise Routine

Harford Oseke, the former Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, has tragically passed away.

Oseke, who was born in August 1960 and hailed from Umuawulu in the Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, collapsed after completing his regular exercise routine at the Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, the state capital. Despite efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead shortly after the incident. His body has been taken to the Apex Medical Centre in Awka.

A learned scholar, Oseke had studied law and recently earned a Ph.D. in Public Administration. In addition to his academic achievements, he was a notable figure in the freight forwarding industry in Port Harcourt and was actively involved in the importation of fishing feeds into Nigeria.

He is survived by his wife and children.
