woman identified as Theresa Awuhe was killed in Makurdi, Benue State.
Known as Tessy, she was shot dead by unknown assailants on her way home from her shop on Saturday night, August 24, 2024. The incident occurred around Villa Suite Street, according to Tamen Tina.
Friends and family members have turned to Facebook to express their grief. Unande Adoo wrote: “May your soul find peace! May your killers never know peace in this world. God will punish them for the sins of their fathers, and punish their generation.”
Another mourner, Ngohile, reflected: “Ahhhh Ngohile If only they knew how kind you were. You showed me the rope in Jesus and told me to tough up as I was a cry cry baby, always crying, you showed me love, till your death you will always check on on us and encourage, you were will wiser than your years, you were Soo full of life.
