A 300-level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Christiana Idowu, has been abducted along the Ikorodu-Yaba Road in Lagos.
According to a family source who spoke with Punch, the abductors are demanding a ransom of N3 million for her release. The student was abducted last week while traveling from her home in Ikorodu to the University of Lagos for her industrial training.
After several unsuccessful attempts to reach her, the family received a call from the abductors demanding the ransom. Despite paying N350,000, the abductors have refused to release Idowu.

The family has reported the matter to the police and is appealing to the government and public for assistance.
