Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe’s X account fell victim to a hacking attack in the early hours of Thursday, August 29.
The hackers wasted no time exploiting the compromised account, flooding the platform with provocative messages and promotions for a cryptocurrency called ‘$MBAPPE’.
Among the controversial content were Manchester United-related posts, including a declaration of “Manchester is Red” and praise for a popular United fan account.
A heated debate ensued as the hacked account engaged in a comparison between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, with the hackers declaring Ronaldo as the “greatest football player of all time” and using derogatory language towards Messi.
The tweets, which have since been removed, sent shockwaves through the football community and sparked widespread controversy.

Mbappe’s representatives are currently working to regain control of his account and address the situation.
