A 19-year-old self-proclaimed native doctor, Timothy Dauda, has been arrested for shooting his client to death in Edo State. The incident happened in Onumu Community, Akokò-Edo Local Government Area.
According to the State Police Command spokesperson, SP Moses Joel Yamu, the suspect specializes in preparing charms against guns and cutlasses. The victim, Alex Ezekiel, approached Dauda and requested a bulletproof charm.
“After preparing the charms, the native doctor tried to test them by shooting the deceased with a gun,” Yamu said. “Unfortunately, the deceased sustained fatal injuries and died at Ifejola Hospital.”
