Hajia Dada, the mother of the late Nigerian President Umaru Musa Yar’adua, has passed away.
I learned that she died at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Katsina on Monday evening, September 2, after a short illness.
Dada was also the mother of the late Shehu Musa Yar’adua and Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, who is currently the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Army.
The family will announce the burial arrangements later.
