The Anambra Police Command has arrested a member of a gang that traffics children.
The gang traffics children between the ages of 13 and 16 to neighboring countries like Ghana and Benin Republic. The police arrested the suspect after receiving reports of missing persons.
The victims has been safely returned to Nigeria and debriefed. The suspect is currently undergoing interrogation at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Awka for possible rescue of other victims and arrest of other gang members.
