Men from the Anambra state police command have arrested police officers on patrol who are allegedly responsible for the death of a 24-year-old man named Ebuka.

The incident happened on Wednesday, September 4, along the Onitsha/Owerri road.

Human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu shared the story online. He said the officers went into hiding after the shooting. Ebuka was taken to the hospital but died. His body was then taken to the morgue.

In response to the incident, the Commissioner for Police in Anambra state, CP Nnaghe Itam, ordered the arrest of the patrol team members.
