WhatsApp Messages Reveal Christiannah Idowu’s Killer Feigned Ignorance Over Her Abduction

New developments have emerged in the case of Adeleye Ayomide, a 200-level Philosophy student at Olabisi Onabanjo University, who is accused of murdering Christiannah Idowu, a 300-level student at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

Adeleye initially demanded a ransom of N3 million from Christiannah’s family, but after collecting N350,000, instead of releasing her, he killed and buried her in his family’s compound.

A WhatsApp conversation has surfaced, showing that Adeleye feigned ignorance and concern over Christiannah’s abduction. He expressed shock upon learning about the ransom demand.

Adeleye was arrested after intelligence operatives tracked him through the BVN and account details used for collecting the ransom. He has confessed to killing Christiannah and burying her body in his family’s compound in Ikorodu.
