Bandits Kill Two Ransom Deliverers in Niger State

Two men have been tragically killed by bandits in Niger State after delivering a ransom for the release of victims abducted in Guaraka.

In August, a group of bandits raided a hotel in the Guaraka community, Tafa Local Government Area, and abducted the hotel owner, his family, and several guests.

Abubakar Sani (Nda Abu) and Ibrahim Garba Shere (Alhaji Tapki) were among the victims who went to deliver the ransom demanded by the kidnappers. Despite paying the ransom, the bandits fatally shot both men.

The victims were laid to rest on Saturday, September 14.

Hon. Muhammad Sani, representing Tafa Constituency in the Niger State House of Assembly, attended the burial and offered his condolences to the bereaved families and the entire community. He described the victims as heroes whose sacrifices would not be forgotten.
