Saudi footballer Fahad Al-Muwallad is reportedly in intensive care after falling from the second-floor balcony of his vacation home in Dubai.
Authorities are closely monitoring his condition as he receives treatment at a local hospital.
According to Dubaieye1038, the incident occurred at Al-Muwallad’s home in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, leaving him with significant injuries. Dubai Police have announced they are investigating the circumstances of the fall.
In a statement released on Saturday night, the Dubai Media Office reported: “Dubai Police General Command announced that Saudi football player Fahad Al-Muwallad was involved in an accident while on a short vacation in Dubai, falling from the balcony of his second-floor home. Initial investigations revealed the accident occurred while he was on the balcony.”
The statement also noted that Al-Muwallad remains in intensive care, where medical teams are providing the necessary treatment. The investigation is ongoing, and results will be shared with relevant authorities once completed.
Al-Muwallad, 30, currently plays for Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab and has been capped 78 times by Saudi Arabia. He joined Al-Shabab on August 28, 2022, and his contract is set to run until June 30, 2025.
