Popular Nigerian film actor Emmanuel France has passed away. The news was confirmed by his colleague, Femi Ogedengbe, on social media.
France, believed to be in his 80s, was renowned for his roles in films such as “Cross My Sin,” “She Is My Sister,” and “The Director.”
The cause of France’s death remains unconfirmed. His passing has shocked and saddened fans and colleagues, coming just days after the death of another Nollywood actor, Big Larry.
Nigeria has experienced a wave of deaths among its filmmakers in recent times, including Mr. Ibu, Amaechi Muonagor, Junior Pope, Sisi Quadri, Ganiyu ‘Ogunjimi Oyeyemi, Olofa Ina, Adejumoke Aderounmu, Saratu Gidado, Reginald Ebere, Ethel Ekpe, and Onyeka Onwenu.
