In a video shared by a Facebook user, a man’s alleged attempt to use a woman for ritualistic purposes was foiled when her cries for help were heard by staff at a hotel in Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.
Hotel employees, responding to the distressing sounds, burst into the room to find the woman completely naked and bound with cellotape. Her hands and feet were secured with the adhesive, and a strip of cellotape was also wrapped around her neck.
The swift intervention of the staff is believed to have saved the woman’s life. They were heard admonishing her for agreeing to go with the man and condemning his actions as a heinous attempt to perform rituals.
The man was ordered to cut the tape binding the woman’s legs, while she used her dress to cover her exposed body.
