The Cross River State police have successfully rescued a 15-year-old girl, Favour Joseph Ekuta, who had been missing for several days.
She was discovered held captive at Eskon Hotel in Afokang, Calabar South.
Favour had been reported missing earlier this week after she was last seen at the University of Cross River State Staff Quarters. According to her family, she was wearing a white trouser, a floral top, and a red face cap when she disappeared.

Following a thorough investigation, the police uncovered the hotel where Favour was being held against her will. One suspect has been arrested in connection with the abduction, and authorities are continuing their search for others involved.

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and the Department of State Services (DSS) are also assisting in the ongoing investigation.
