Thai Man Arrested After 20 Years of Performing Unqualified Penis Enlargement Surgeries

A fraudulent medical practitioner has been arrested after performing penis enlargement treatments for 20 years without any qualifications.

Kittikorn Songsri, a 36-year-old from Bangkok, Thailand, allegedly carried out implant surgeries and filler injections on hundreds of patients, charging up to £450 each. Despite lacking a medical license, he admitted to having left school after secondary education and began self-teaching implant procedures at the age of 14.

His arrest followed a complaint from a client who reported suffering a severe infection after receiving silicone injections. This prompted police intervention.

Specialized clinics often offer a variety of procedures for men seeking enlargement. These include surgically inserting a silicone structure, similar to breast implants, cutting an internal ligament to create the appearance of length, or injecting fillers for thickness.

According to local media, Thai police from the Consumer Protection Division arranged for an undercover officer to approach Mr. Songsri as a potential client. They subsequently raided his premises, discovering equipment that did not meet hygiene standards for medical procedures, as reported by the Bangkok Post.

During questioning, Mr. Kittikorn acknowledged that he was not a licensed doctor and admitted to serving two to three customers a month, charging between 5,000 to 20,000 baht (£110 to £450) for his services. His arrest was triggered by a complaint from a man who reported ongoing pain and impotence following a severe infection from the treatment.

Authorities learned that Mr. Kittikorn had been advertising his services through a Facebook page. This incident highlights the rising trend of men seeking cosmetic procedures, including Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBLs), liposuction, and abdominal implants.
