Ondo Police Identify Officers Accused of Extortion in Akure

The Ondo State Police Command has identified officers allegedly involved in extorting N20,000 from a man in Akure.

The victim, Temi, reported on social media that he was stopped by police officers while on his way to donate inhalers to students at the Federal University of Technology Akure.

The officers allegedly threatened him and demanded the money.

In response to the allegations, the police command stated that disciplinary action has been initiated against the officers involved.
