The telephone number of Minister of Education Prof. Tahir Mamman has been hacked, and unauthorized individuals are using his WhatsApp account.
Folashade Boriowo, the Director of Press and Public Relations at the ministry, announced this in a statement on Friday, September 27, 2024, in Abuja.
She urged the public to disregard any messages received from the compromised number until further notice.
““We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause,” Boriowo stated. “The matter has been reported to the relevant authorities and is currently under investigation.”
She also advised the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
