Former Senate Majority Leader Jonathan Zwingina, a prominent Nigerian politician from Adamawa State, has passed away.
While the family has not yet issued an official confirmation, reliable sources indicate that he died on Wednesday, October 2nd, in Abuja.
Zwingina, a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a two-term Senator representing Adamawa Southern Senatorial District (1999-2007), later defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He was 70 years old at the time of his passing.
