A 22-year-old man, Kwabena Osei, and his 19-year-old girlfriend tragically lost their lives in a fire set by friends in Kasoa, Ghana.
The incident was allegedly motivated by a dispute over GHS 190,000 believed to have been obtained through internet fraud.
According to GhPage, Osei, a suspected member of an internet fraud gang, was targeted after refusing to share the spoils with his associates. Despite repeated attempts to persuade him, Osei remained adamant, leading to escalating tensions within the group.
In a violent act of retribution, Osei’s friends allegedly doused his residence with petrol and set it ablaze. The fire completely destroyed the property and claimed the lives of both Osei and his girlfriend, Princess.

Sources revealed that Princess was also involved in the fraudulent activities, acting as the voice of a supposed white lady to facilitate calls for Osei and his gang.
