Lagos Police officers from Area C command, who were accused of extorting over N1 million from National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members, have refunded the money.
The update was shared by X user Oluyemi Fasipe, who initially reported the incident. Fasipe expressed appreciation for the prompt response of Lagos Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin and Lagos State NYSC officials in addressing the matter.

While justice has been partially served with the refund, Fasipe noted that the officers’ trial is still ongoing. He urged the public to remain vigilant as the case progresses to ensure a just outcome.
