Rapper and Social Media Influencer Lucas Coly Passes Away by Suicide at 27

French-American social media influencer Lucas Coly has died at the age of 27, his manager confirmed. The rapper passed away at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Wednesday night, October 2.

Police have confirmed that Coly died by suicide.

Paying tribute the following morning, his manager wrote online: “”Rest in peace @iamlucascoly I love you bro. My heart is ripped in half. Wait for me up there.”

The manager expressed deep grief and loss, acknowledging the challenges Coly faced and the importance of checking in on friends. He urged people to respect the privacy of Amber H., Coly’s longtime girlfriend, and to pray for her.

Confirming that he spoke with Coly before his death, the manager assured that the news was true. He emphasized the importance of reaching out to friends and regretted not doing more for Coly.

Just hours before his death, Coly posted on his Instagram Story, expressing his love for his fans.

“I love y’all,” he wrote, followed by an orange heart emoji. 

The musician was born in France and immigrated to the United States at the age of eight. He and Amber gained fame through their joint YouTube channel, which was last updated two years ago.

In 2016, Coly released the song “I Just Wanna,” for which he became best known.
