Speed Darlington’s mother is urgently appealing to Nigerian singer Burna Boy for mercy following her son’s arrest. She claims her son was detained due to a video he made about Burna Boy in connection with Diddy.
Expressing her deep concern, she urged Nigerians to help her plead for forgiveness and her son’s release.
Earlier, popular content creator Constance made a public appeal on social media to locate Speed Darlington (@akpi), who had been missing for three days.
Constance noted that Speed Darlington’s last social media activity was three days ago, and all attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful.
While the reasons for his disappearance remain unconfirmed, she suggested it might be related to the video he posted prior to going missing. Now, his mother has clarified that he wasn’t missing but was, in fact, arrested by Burna Boy over the video.
In a video trending online, Speedy’s mother said: “My son has been arrested by Burna Boy because of a video he made about him in connection to Diddy. Speed Darlington is my only son. I’m begging Nigerians to help me appeal to Burna Boy to show mercy. Please forgive my son.”
