A 32-year-old man, Wahab Ibrahim, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly defiling a four-year-old girl in the Ikeja area.
According to police reports, a woman visited the Elemoro police station on September 6 to report that Ibrahim had inserted his finger into the vagina of her four-year-old niece. The incident occurred in Ikeja.
Police officers visited the scene and collected the victim’s blood-stained underwear as evidence. The case was subsequently transferred to the Gender Unit in Ikeja for further investigation.
Ibrahim was arrested and arraigned in court on October 4.
