A father of nine, identified only as Charles, has tragically taken his own life in the Jeddo community of Delta State.
According to reports, Charles ingested a poisonous substance at his home on Monday, October 7, before passing away at his in-laws’ residence.
Sources indicate that Charles’ decision to end his life may be linked to personal issues, including a recent marital dispute that led to his wife’s departure. Despite efforts to reconcile, his wife reportedly refused to return to the marriage.
The Delta State Police Command spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, has not yet confirmed the incident.
