Three men have been arrested in Lagos for allegedly defiling a 15-year-old girl in the Festac area.
The Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrests on Wednesday, October 9. The suspects are identified as Vincent Omar (22), Leonard Nwodo (30), and Henry Chiokwe (17).
According to the police, the girl’s mother reported the incident to the Festac Command on September 26. The victim claimed that Omar had coerced her into performing oral sex in 2022 when she was 13.
He Hundeyin: “The survivor alleged that she met Omar sometime in 2022 when she was 13 years old and they exchanged phone numbers and ever since then he called her on the phone to come to his house and he asked her to give him a blow job.
“She stated further that sometime in May 2024, she met Omar’s friend, Nwodo at her mother’s shop and they also exchanged phone numbers Nwodo invited her to Omar’s house where he had carnal knowledge of her.
“She said that Chiokwe also had carnal knowledge of her.”
The suspects allegedly threatened to release nude photos of the girl online if she reported the incidents.
The three men have been charged and brought before a court.
