Sean “Diddy” Combs to Remain in Jail Until May 2025 Trial

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs will remain behind bars as his sex trafficking case is set to begin on May 5, 2025.

This decision was made during a recent court hearing where Judge Arun Subramanian denied Combs’ bail request.

Combs was arrested in September on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and using transportation to engage in prostitution. His lawyers have argued that he should be released on bail, claiming that concerns about him intimidating witnesses are unfounded. However, the judge has ruled that he will remain in custody until the trial.

The indictment against Combs alleges that he was involved in sexual performances known as “Freak Offs” that involved hours or even days of sexual activity.

Prosecutors claim that Combs arranged, directed, and participated in these performances, often recording them electronically. Additionally, Combs is accused of using drugs to keep victims compliant and using force or threats to coerce them into sexual acts.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges and maintains his innocence. He will remain in the Brooklyn jail until his trial next year.
