Two South African women have tragically lost their lives at the hands of their boyfriends.
Koketso Lekgoathi, 22, was found murdered in her home in Diepkloof, Johannesburg. Her boyfriend, who reported her death to police, was arrested and charged with murder. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 11.
In a separate incident, Fezeka Ndlovu, a pharmacist, was fatally stabbed by her boyfriend, a police officer, in her home in Palm Ridge. Her young daughter witnessed the horrific attack.
Community members marched to the Diepkloof police station on Thursday to demand justice for Koketso.
