Faisal Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, the eldest son of former Kaduna State Governor, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, has tragically passed away.
The young civil engineer was involved in a car accident on the Kaduna-Zaria highway on Saturday evening, October 12. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
His father, Senator Makarfi, was immediately notified and was present at the hospital when the sad news was delivered. Arrangements are currently underway to transport Faisal’s body back home for burial.
Faisal, a graduate of the University of Greenwich in London, was a respected figure in his community. His sudden passing has left many in Nigeria mourning his loss, with heartfelt condolences pouring in on social media.
