Pogba Rejects Russian Offer Amid Juventus Contract Dispute

French superstar Paul Pogba has turned down an offer to join a Russian club as he prepares for his return to football following a reduced doping ban.

The former Manchester United midfielder could be back on the field in March after his four-year ban was shortened to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. The reduced suspension averted potential retirement for Pogba, who is expected to resume training in January.

However, his return won’t be with his current club, Juventus, who are working to terminate his contract.

According to France Football, Russian club Broke Boys FC approached the World Cup winner with an offer, but Pogba politely declined.

The club, unaffiliated with FIFA, plays in the Media Football League, a celebrity-based league founded in 2022.

Pogba has been linked with clubs like Marseille and Saudi Pro League teams ahead of his return. The 31-year-old is reportedly negotiating a departure from Juventus, having rejoined the club in 2022.
