A fatal road accident claimed the lives of 13 people on the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway on Friday afternoon.
The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Kaduna, Kabir Nadabo, confirmed the incident. He stated that a Toyota Hiace and a Golf Salon collided near Olam farm, resulting in the tragic loss of life.
The injured survivors were immediately taken to AP Smart Hospital in Kakuri for medical attention.
Mr Nadabo urged motorists to prioritise road safety, particularly during the upcoming peak travel period. He emphasised the dangers of excessive speed and called on drivers to adhere to speed limits.
