Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has quietly married his pregnant girlfriend, Helene Spilling.
The 25-year-old Norwegian midfielder, currently sidelined due to injury, took the opportunity to tie the knot with his long-time partner.
According to Norwegian newspaper Verdens Gang, Odegaard has updated his marital status in the national registry, while Spilling has adopted the surname Odegaard.
The couple first appeared publicly together at the London Football Awards in March 2023 and confirmed their relationship in June of that year.
They announced their pregnancy in August, sharing the news on social media with the caption: ‘1+1 = 3. Can’t wait to meet you, our little baby.’
