Linda Chiamaka Obi, a former member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), was reportedly kidnapped by bandits after the passing-out parade in Kebbi State.
The kidnapping took place on Saturday, November 3, 2024, in Zungeru, Niger State.
The vehicle, traveling from Kebbi to Onitsha in Anambra State, was attacked by bandits.
During the attack, Chiamaka and a family of four were taken by the kidnappers, and a male passenger was killed.
The driver and two other passengers were injured and are now being treated at a hospital.
Ms. Obi is from Ogbuokwe Edenta, Okwietiti in Imo State, and she is a graduate of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede.
