Nurse Arrested for Theft in Ondo

A 25-year-old auxiliary nurse, Jimoh Akeem, has been apprehended by the Ondo State Security Network Agency (Amotekun Corps) for alleged theft in Ondo town.

In a confession at the Amotekun headquarters in Akure, Akeem admitted to specialising in stealing motorcycles, clothing, and generators. He revealed that his criminal activities began this year and involved targeting motorcycles parked in compounds at night.

Akeem further disclosed that he had a buyer in Abeokuta who purchased the stolen motorcycles. Additionally, he confessed to stealing aso-oke (traditional Yoruba attire) and selling it to women in the area. He also admitted to stealing generators.

Akeem, who works at Ogunye Hospital, explained that he had no specific motive for his criminal actions. He was previously arrested for theft and had been released.
