A 35-year-old man, Felix Vhimg, has been found dead in mysterious circumstances days after going missing in the Ojowo area of Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State.
The deceased had visited his brother, Robert Sunday, on Monday, 11th November. After saying goodbye around 9pm, he was expected to return home. However, when he failed to do so, Robert became concerned and reported him missing to the police.
Despite a search operation, Felix’s body was discovered near a local stream on 13th November. It bore a wound near the left eye. Police were notified and retrieved the body, which was subsequently taken to Alayangbe Private Morgue for a post-mortem examination.
The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Ijebu Igbo for further investigation.
