Social media influencer Julian Barboza was arrested earlier this month following a dispute with his girlfriend at a party in Beverly Hills, according to TMZ.
Beverly Hills police were called to the party at around 2 AM. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Barboza’s girlfriend, who detailed the incident.
The couple reportedly had a heated argument, during which Barboza asked his girlfriend to leave. Tensions escalated when she started recording the dispute on her phone. Barboza allegedly snatched the device and threw it to the ground, damaging it.
As the argument continued and the girlfriend tried to leave, Barboza allegedly blocked the door, injuring her hand in the process.
Police entered the party to speak with Barboza and subsequently arrested him on multiple charges, including robbery for allegedly taking the phone, vandalism for damaging it, and domestic violence related to the hand injury.
Barboza was detained and later released after posting bail of $50,000. The girlfriend’s phone remains missing, and authorities have not recovered it from the scene.
