An Allied Air cargo aircraft with registration number 5N-JRT crash-landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA) in Abuja on Wednesday, 11 December 2024, at approximately 10:05 AM. The incident occurred due to a failure of one of the aircraft’s landing gears.

The E-Cargo aircraft, which was carrying six crew members, was successfully evacuated. All crew members are currently undergoing medical assessments at the 063 Nigerian Air Force (NAF) medical unit.

Emergency responders swiftly secured the crash site and cordoned off the area under the supervision of the Military Airport Commandant (MAC) and other relevant agencies.
