FG Announces Free Train Travel for Nigerians This Christmas and New Year

The Federal Government has announced free train travel for any Nigerian citizen wishing to travel for the Christmas festivities.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, made the announcement on Monday, 16 December, while briefing journalists on the outcome of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

He noted that the free train travel will begin on 20 December 2024 and end on 5 January 2025.

According to Mr Idris, Nigerians can access the train travel on all routes where train services are currently operating.
